A Thought
by une vixen a la romaji

i had a little thought
where there was a gardener (you)
who coaxed the petals
of my innocence
and made my flower bloom
into something brighter
and more beautiful than before
something to be cherished
in His garden
of velvet roses free of
the pain and suffering
of hatred and discrimination
and the gardener tended to
that one special flower
that belonged to Him and
loved it until it began to wilt

(i loved you)

so then you tainted it
and soiled it with a touch
that brought confusion and
scattered His blossoms
of naivety and made me
fear and made me cry
and you were not a gardener
who cultivated my (love) but
a destroyer of life, a weed
that choked the light from
all it touched

i had a little thought
and made god cry
but it was ok
because He still loves me
unlike you

About the Poet:
une vixen a la romaji is a spur-of-the-moment poet and once-in-a-lifetime writer. But when inspiration strikes, it hits like a ton bricks and clears some of the Cobwebs in her mind. Poetry isn't her strongest suit, but when it involves anything har, it becomes her most powerful trump card. She can be reached at bikkushin@aol.com.
