Lovelorn
by Aislinn
soft gentle honeystring pull of your smile
the aftermath of a kiss;
I drown in a whirling dervish of sensation
devouring me whole.
I lift a pen to draw you, to write of your beauty,
to mete out words in preservation of your flesh,
the tablature of your voice.
Your foreverblue eyes close when you laugh
Cloying sweetness of hot flesh,
like warm velvet touched at midnight.
paradise opens before me;
a flowering of infinite petals, lotus blooming warmth
I see heaven and yet fall from the grace of your smile.
when did your eyes become so cruel?
