| Creating Harish Jewelry
by
Marja Kettner
Over
the past two months, Sabine Wedemeyer-Schwiersch has been designing
beautiful harish jewelry like brooches, chains and necklaces.
Normally she works on Elvish stuff, traveling through Germany
and visiting a lot of Lord of the Rings conventions with
her garments and collection of wonderful Elvish clothes.
Sabine, 54,
met Storm in June and was fascinated to work with the Live-Role-Play
Project in December. "After I met the couple from Stafford,
I got myself the books as soon as possible and start to design,
especially the beautiful Tigron peacock crown together with Sven,
who will be playing the role in the LARP," she says. "It
will be made of golden steel with gems and real feathers."
Sabine
is a well known author of fantasy-novels in Germany and won several
prizes for her short story collections. Born and raised in Hamburg,
she now lives with her three adult children and one old cat in
the heart of Dortmund in a quiet and large old house, with a wild
natural garden and a great collection of her fantasy picture exhibition.
Her favorite musician is Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull, who was
inspiration for one of her great paintings.
All
pictures (which I took) are set in her atelier in Dortmund where
Sabine and Sven Weber are both working on the current jewelry
collection.
