the Photos

Die Geschichte mit den Fotos ist eine sehr interessante: ich arbeite
an einer Fotoserie über Elfenmänner (Elben), die in einem
deutschen Magazin erscheinen soll. Dafür habe ich dieses Model,
Cain, angesprochen, den ich auf einem Her der Ringe Festival traf.
Nachdem die Maskenbildnerin Cain geschminkt hatte, hatten mein Assistent
und ich den gleichen Gedanken, das ist nicht ein Elb aus dem Tolkienbuch,
sondern die Verkörperung von Phanthera aus dem Constantine
Buch, der Blick, der Ausdruck, alles, deswegen mache ich parallel
eine Fotoserie zu den Storm Constantinebüchern.
English translation: The story with the photos is an interesting
one: I was working on a photo series about Elf men which was to
appear in a German magazine. For this I had engaged this model,
Cain, whom I'd met at a Lord of the Rings festival. After the
makeup artist had finished with Cain, my assistant and I had the
same thought, that this wasn't an Elf out of a Tolkien book, but
the embodiment of Panthera from the Constantine book -- the look,
the impression, everything, and therefore I went and did a paralel
photo series for the Storm Constantine books.
