Hi everyone,
Hi, this is Wendy. As many of you have probably noticed, Storm hasn't been popping up online lately, the way she used to. You might be wondering why this is and what's going on. Well, Storm has asked me to deliver a little update until she can get to it herself, which she says will be in a week or two.
First off, there has been some bad news. On October 8th, Storm's dear father died. It was a long illness and although she and her stepmother were able to be there and comfort him, we all know how illness and death in the family can knock "normal life" completely out of whack. Storm and family have been having to take care of funeral arrangements, legal bits, and now they are arranging things for her stepmother, who is left widowed.
Now for some good news.
For new Wraeththu material, Storm says that Grimoire Dehara: Kaimana, the first Wraeththu magic book, will be coming out hopefully by the end of this month. The book is already typeset and there are wonderful illustrations, which I've been lucky enough to see. They are working on a cover. Also, Immanion Press is readying an omnibus (3-in-1) edition of the first Wraeththu trilogy (Enchantments, Bewitchments and Fulfilments) which will allow people to get the new editions all in one volume. The appendices will be left out because the book is going to be very thick anyway, as you can imagine. Also notable, this new version will use a regular font, as opposed to the "Papyrus" font on the single-book editions, which some have said is difficult to read. The omnibus will be out possibly by December. For further updates on what is available from Immanion Press, visit http://www.immanion-press.com.
Next, just in time for the holidays, the Immanion Thrift Market is going to switch over to selling Thiede merchandise. The design will be the same beautiful illustration, by Ruby, which appears on the cover of the Immanion Press version of The Fulfilments of Fate and Desire. Please note that the switchover will occur in mid-November, so if you would like to order any Cobweb prints, T-shirts, etc., you need to place those orders now because once Thiede is up, the Cobweb designs will come down.
I hope everybody joins me in sending Storm best wishes. If you have any questions, it might be best at this time to write to me directly (wdarling@abraxis.com), as Storm is at the moment still tied up and may not be able to respond right away. She will, however, be posting her own news update and hello in the next couple of weeks.
Sincerely,
Wendy Darling
