the angels of the lord
are neither male
nor female
they are sublime
and they are perfect
in every way

the angels of the world
are both male
and female
they are wonderful
and so very flawed
in so many ways

why do they tread on the earth
while the others thrive in paradise?

because

perfection means compliance
compliance means submission
and the angels of the lord
tremble at the sound His name

but the angels of the world
loved the power of freedom
the taste of glory
the aphrodisiac of life

and the lord would not allow it

the angels of the world
were so much more divine

what heaven could contain them
