Darling - Cologne Cathedral
Artist's
Notes:
I don't think it's possible to take a truly "bad" pictures
of Cologne Cathedral, as long as you simply point up
and click. These pictures were taken during a visit to
Cologne in early January 2005. I've played with the color.
A note on the titles: "Dom" means "cathedral" in German. |

Darling - Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta, GA
Artist's
note:
The following photographs were taken in Atlanta's
historic Oakland
Cemetery, a peculiar and beautiful
"park" located within a mile of Downtown Atlanta.
The cemetery is famous as the resting place of Atlanta
legends author Margaret Mitchell and golfer Bobby Jones,
as well as several hunder Civil War dead. It boasts several
beautiful family mausoleums as well as many outstanding
examples of 19th century statuary and a Jewish section. |

Darling - Forest
Artist's
Notes:
The following photographs were taken in a forest near
my parents' home in Andover, Massachusetts. Obviously
I've messed with the color on most of them, but I wanted
to get across the mood and the form, rather than simply
showing what I saw. |
